My favourites are the health pages, competitions, short story and of course the many benefits from being a member. I love the fact that I can enjoy a great magazine with so many rewards whilst at the same time helping others in need. It is a fantastic concept and one which I hope to remain part of for many more years to come

RE: just saying hello

Hi luckylisa I'm new to candis too. I do agree that candis seems to be aimed at middle aged women, as my copy goes round the family when I've finished reading it I think there's a bit for everybody. You're not the only young reader as I'm only 24 (feel 94 sometimes!) and a cousin of mine reads it and she's only 16. Like you, I think the magazine is fantastic for giving so much to charity. My niece was on the neonatal ward when she was born, when I found out candis helped hospitals I felt compelled to subscribe. For the small subscription fee it does so much to help and it's great to be a part of that.

RE: just saying hello

hi this is lisa, i am a new member to and this is my first time using the website. i also feel that this magazine is for a good cause. i also wonder what the average age is for this magazine as i have only just turned 23 last week and feel that this magazine is aimed for more middle aged women. There are lots of things I like about Candis. What Candis do for charity is amazing. I feel quite proud to be a part of helping Candis to achieve these contributions - and being able to read each month about how they are being used to benefit others. I have been a member for some years now and have been to a couple of the Big Day's Out they organise in the summer, which are great value for taking the kids too. I have used a couple of the benefits and saved over £150 when I swapped my home insurance and bought a Soni highfi from the electrical goods that was about £60 cheaper then anywhere else. I really look forward to the magazine each month, I always have a bit of 'me' time when it comes and have quick flick through then go back to the beginning to read all the bits that caught my eye!

just saying hello

Hello.
